When Arthur had a serious fall resulting in injuries, it was a distressing time for our family. After nearly a month’s stay in the hospital, it became apparent that he required further care to recover fully. We chose Warren Barr Oak Lawn on the recommendation of the social worker at the hospital, primarily because of its proximity and availability. The decision proved to be a blessing. Arthur spent about a month there, receiving dedicated therapy and care. I cannot emphasize enough the incredible support and love we experienced at Warren Barr. Every staff member, from the therapists to the nurses and even the janitorial staff, treated us with utmost kindness and respect. Arthur’s improvements were significant. The therapy and care he received were instrumental in his recovery, allowing him to return home in much better health. Furthermore, the post-care support has been remarkable. Choosing this facility was one of the best decisions we made for Arthur’s recovery. Their dedication to patient care, the warmth, and the exceptional service they provide are reasons I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone in need of such care.

I received excellent care at Warren Barr Oak Lawn. The CNAs, nurses, and therapists were very kind and good at their job. I want to give a special shout-out to some of the staff I considered friends over the three months I was a resident there. Nurses: Megan, Maria, Lucas, Marsha, and Deja. CNA’s: Dora, Ebony, Deja, Toneka and Christina. Karen, the nurse practitioner. She’s very nice and considerate of the resident’s concerns. The restorative group Pooh, Jennifer, and Naya were wonderful. Then, there were physical and occupational therapists; Tim, Shannon, Bernie, Beth, Ray, Anna, and Lydia were great. I don’t know where I’d be today without their help. Everyone who took care of me was very friendly and kind to me. Since I had to be in at a rehab facility, I’m so glad we picked Warren Barr Oak Lawn!

My doctor at Advocate Christ Medical Center suggested I come here to Warren Barr Oak Lawn to get wound care for my left foot. I am glad I came here because it prevented the amputation of my foot, and it is healing well. The staff is very attentive. Tim and the entire therapy team go above and beyond to accommodate my needs and make therapy fun. The wound care team is also outstanding, especially Tracy and Ashley. They give me great information about caring for my wound. I also enjoy the meals here. They are well-balanced to help give me the energy I need for therapy. I am making a lot of progress in therapy. My wife and I are truly grateful to Warren Barr.
